Terms of Service
Last updated 22 July 2026
These terms govern your use of AulaPath. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. The service
AulaPath is a free online language-learning service, with courses structured around recognised proficiency frameworks (such as the CEFR levels A1 to B2). We provide it as it is, and we may add to it, change it, or take parts of it away.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Give us an email address that is really yours, and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.
- Tell us at support@aulapath.com if you think someone else is using it.
- You can delete your account whenever you like, and we will delete your personal data with it.
3. What it costs
The course itself — every level, unit, lesson, test, game and vocabulary review — is free, with no paid tier, no subscription and no in-app purchases. The one exception is the AI Tutor, which is currently in a private beta available only to select accounts, free, and limited to 5 sessions a month for accounts that have it (see clause 4 below for how it works). If we ever start charging for something you currently have for free — including the AI Tutor after its beta period — we will tell you before it affects you, and we will not start charging you without that notice.
4. The AI Tutor
The AI Tutor (“Profe”) is a live, voice-to-voice conversation feature built on a third-party AI model. While speaking with it:
- Your microphone audio is streamed to that third-party provider to generate the conversation — it is not processed only on our servers. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what is sent and to whom.
- It is currently only enabled for select accounts in a private beta. Where enabled, it is free in beta, capped at 5 sessions a month (each up to 10 minutes), renewing on a rolling monthly schedule. We may adjust this limit, and may introduce paid tiers for the AI Tutor once it is out of beta — clause 3 above governs how we would tell you before that affects you.
- The tutor is an AI, not a human teacher or a certified source of grammatical truth — clause 8 (“No guarantee of fluency”) applies to it as much as to the rest of the course.
- Don't use it to submit content you wouldn't want processed by a third-party AI provider, and the acceptable-use rules in clause 5 apply to how you use it.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Break the service, or try to — no scraping the course content in bulk, no attacking the infrastructure, no probing for vulnerabilities without asking us first.
- Interfere with how progress and scores are recorded, or use another person's account.
- Use AulaPath for anything illegal.
If you find a genuine security problem, please tell us rather than exploit it — we will be grateful.
6. Our content
The course content — texts, dialogues, exercises, examples, and the software itself — belongs to us and is protected by copyright. You may use it to learn the language you signed up for. You may not republish it, sell it, or pass it off as your own.
7. Your content
Anything you write in the app, such as your writing-journal entries, stays yours. We store it only so that we can show it back to you, and we do not publish it, share it, or use it to train anything.
8. No guarantee of fluency
AulaPath is a learning tool, not a qualification. Finishing a level does not certify you at that level, and the completion certificate the app shows you is a personal milestone — not an accredited award and not recognised by any examining body, institution or employer.
9. Independence
AulaPath is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Difusión S.L., the Aula Internacional series, or the Instituto Cervantes. The CEFR is a public framework published by the Council of Europe; referring to it implies no endorsement by anyone.
10. Availability
We would like AulaPath to be available all the time, but we do not promise that it will be. It may go down for maintenance, or because something broke. We are not liable for what you miss while it is unavailable — including a broken streak.
11. Liability
AulaPath is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury, or fraud, and nothing here takes away rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
12. Ending it
You can stop using AulaPath and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why unless we are prevented from doing so.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed, and we will tell you in the app if a change is significant. Continuing to use AulaPath after a change means you accept it.
